Program

The Peer Mentoring Program will match you with a fellow Islands Institute participant who seems to have complimentary skills.

Are you an experienced learner, but new to the technical side of online learning? Do you have practice with research, writing, group process, science, art, using wikis, or some other skill you would be willing to share? As an online mentor, you can help a fellow-participant by acting as a role model, critical friend, compatriot, challenger and guide. You should expect to correspond by e-mail approximately once a week.

We hope these mentoring relationships will enrich the experience of online learning for both parties. Please sign up for the program by e-mailing a brief description of yourself:
